Microblading Post-Care

After your microblading session:

01.

You must avoid sweating for about 10 days in order to properly heal your microbladed eyebrows. Anything that causes you to sweat, such as gardening, working out at the gym, or being exposed to hot weather must be avoided. Sweat causes the eyebrow hairs to become brittle under the skin. Your pigmentation will then be destroyed if you sweat. It is impossible to repair the damage this causes to your eyebrows.

02.

Do not pick, rub, scratch or touch the area. This can result in scarring or ruining the pigmentation of your new eyebrows. Allow any dry skin or scabbing to naturally exfoliate.

03.

Avoid Moisture. This means that you should avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and pools.

04.

You should not wash your hair under any circumstances. Avoid sleeping on your face or covering your eyebrows with a blanket, pillow, or other cover. This can hinder the healing process.

05.

For the first 3-4 weeks following your procedure, avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds. Hyperpigmentation in your microbladed eyebrows can be caused by direct sunlight. Scarring can also be caused by it.

06.

You should not use water to your eyebrows. Use a towel to dry your face. DON'T let your brows get wet!

07.

For 2 weeks, you should not apply any makeup to your eyebrows or other areas of your face after microblading.

08.

Do not apply any Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasions to the area where your eyebrows have been treated.

09.

Make sure you are avoiding any skincare products that contain Retin-A or Glycol on Your Brows.

10.

Never be afraid to ask your artist post-treatment if you are unsure about anything.
